Securinega suffruticosa

A rare but very attractive dense shrub reaching around 7 feet with a graceful habit, that is native to northeast Asia and Siberia. Some records include: 10 years - 8 feet; largest on record - 10 x 12 feet. It is a member of the larger Euphorbia family. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in Canada and northern parts of the U.S.!!!
The deciduous foliage is elliptical and up to 2.5 x 1 inch in size.
They are fresh bright green in summer and turn to golden yellow in autumn.
The flowers are white and borne in July and August.
Hardy from zones 3 to 7 on moist, well drained soil in full sun.
Can be cut to ground in early spring to renovate.
